Under previous ownership, a bare metal repaint was commissioned in the 1990s. Thorough verification and mechanical refurbishment was later completed by Precision Porsche Service of Spring Grove, Illinois in 2012. Overhauls of fuel and braking systems, a partial engine reseal, and leak-down/compression testing are further detailed alongside new door speakers, Dynamat insulation, Bilstein shock absorbers, and more.
