1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster V12 4-Speed

The Jaguar E-Type (also known as the XKE) was designed as a blend of high performance, stunning aesthetics, and affordability in its day, with its distinctive exterior even leading Enzo Ferrari to famously declare it “the most beautiful car in the world.”

 

This 1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster V12 4-Speed represents a fine, restored example of one of the British car industry’s most celebrated postwar models. The Blue exterior is complemented by the various exterior updates introduced to the E-Type/XKE with the ‘Series III’ models, including flared front and rear wheel arches, a redesigned front grille, and an extended wheelbase compared to earlier iterations. The chrome wire wheels are paired with a set of period-correct white wall tires, complementing the Black soft top roof and the various exterior chrome trim pieces throughout the body. 

 

The interior marries a combination of Tan leather upholstery with Black accent sections. A three-spoke leather steering wheel and US-market specification ‘Smiths’ analog gauges face the driver, with a leather upholstered armrest separating both occupants. An aftermarket audio headunit adds the convenience of modern connectivity to the cabin of this classic British tourer.
