First offered in 1967 as a stylized standalone roll bar, Porsche's Targa soon became an institution with airy fixed rear glass completing the 911 silhouette. Despite the polarizing effects of impact bumpers, 1974’s introduction of the G-series generation grew the model lineup’s breadth and depth.
