Sotheby’s Motorsport is pleased to present this 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe, finished in the seldom-seen and visually captivating shade of Marine Blue Metallic (L35V) over Silver Grey leather upholstery with contrasting blue carpets. A quintessential example of the revered 930 generation, this vehicle is powered by a turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. Factory equipment includes an electric sunroof, a central locking and alarm system, and staggered-width 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. Acquired by the previous owner in 2015 and retained for approximately eight years, the vehicle is reported to have received an engine rebuild during that time. It is now offered for auction out of Miami, Florida, displaying 130,406 miles at the time of cataloging, and accompanied by a clean title.
The iconic silhouette of the 930 is accentuated by its signature wide rear haunches and the distinctive “tea tray” rear spoiler.
