Ferrari's 308 left more than a generational impact, beginning with its 1973 Paris Auto Show debut. The car’s Pininfarina design stands among the longest running of any Prancing Horse, remaining in production up until 1989. The 308 / 328 also served as one of the marque’s final pre-unibody chassis. Ferrari evolved the 308 into the 328 for 1986. Though both retained similar bodies, the 328 brought several changes improving its aesthetic appearance and drivetrain—including a larger 3.2-liter V8 engine, updated fuel injection, and various exterior/interior styling changes. GTB models offered a fixed roof, while the GTS featured a removable roof panel for open-air motoring.
