A niche in Porsche's lineup, its limited production totaled just 2,104 units. With fewer than 1,000 destined for North America, the G-body special remained a rarified prize among collectors from the start. Sans back seat or insulated cabriolet top, its cloth roof stowed beneath a double-bubble body color tonneau.
