1990 | Ferrari Testarossa

First debuting at the 1984 Paris Motor Show as the successor to the 512 BBi, the Ferrari Testarossa combines timeless Pininfarina styling with a track record of fantastic reliability and durability. An undisputed icon of the 1980s that made multiple appearances in video games, movies, and TV shows of the era, the Testarossa has become one of the most distinguished models in the Maranello brand’s history and continues to evoke nostalgic images of ‘80s automotive and pop culture. 
 

This example is presented in a desirable Ferrari specification of Rosso Corsa paint over a tan interior. As a 1990 model year Testarossa, it benefits from many midlife improvements added towards the end of the model's life cycle -  namely the inclusion of 5-lug wheels, upgraded suspension settings, and switch to standard tire specifications. Fuel injection is also incorporated into the mid-mounted 3.9L flat-12 cylinder engine, mated to the 5-speed gated rear transaxle manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through its limited-slip differential, with ventilated brake discs all around providing optimal stopping power. Featured amenities throughout the Tan interior overlaid with Connolly Leather include air conditioning,  digital clock, heated rear window, in-car stereo speakers, in addition to electrically-operated windows, side view mirrors, and door locks. Modifications on this car are limited to an Alpine audio head unit and a muffler delete (retaining the original catalytic converters), with the rest of this Testarossa’s original form preserved. 
 

Just under 50,000 miles are currently present on the odometer. Service records detailing more than $100k of work provide additional transparency on the diligent upkeep this two-owner Testarossa has received, most recently a comprehensive ‘Full Major Service’  by Ferrari of New England, consisting of a rebuild of the engine's top-end, replacement of engine belts, full fluid service, head gasket replacement, and the refurbishment of other key drivetrain components - ensuring this classic supercar is in a clean state of health.

The window sticker provided reports this Testarossa, serial number 86977 was delivered upon its arrival in the United States to Walnut Creek Ferrari of California. The CarFax report details an accident-free history and past registration in multiple states, including Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Massachusetts, and Alabama, between two previous owners. The seller states they have owned this car for roughly two months and have added 60 miles under their ownership. This Ferrari is currently located with the seller in Daphne, Alabama.
