Overview

Finished in Paint to Sample Violet Blue Metallic over Black leather, this 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S offers a differentiated enthusiast experience. Imported from the United Kingdom in 2024, its right-hand-drive spec tallies top equipment inside and out, accented by subtle modifications. Further, this example represents a remarkably low segment of production—estimated at fewer than 100 Varioram-equipped units configured with a manual transaxle for the model year. Inside, electric comfort seats, an onboard computer, chrome-bezel VDO instrumentation, and a leather-wrapped dashboard fill out the air-conditioned cabin below a body-color sunroof. Originally optioned with Sound Package Plus, upgrades under previous ownership net a high-end Sony stereo w/Hertz and Alpine speakers.
.
Six-speed manual shifting funnels flat-six power to all four corners via a viscous coupling center differential, matched by cross-drilled brakes with Red calipers. Over stock, this coupe adds Porsche Hollow Spoke Turbo Twist wheels clad in Michelin Pilot Sport tires, an OEM rear aero kit wing, and Fister mufflers. Solid Turbo Twist Wheels along with the car’s original decklid and exhaust components are included in the sale. All maintenance history and records from new assembled in a 4” thick binder will be supplied to the next owner, as well as keys and factory tools/accessories.
.
Porsche’s 993-generation 911 (1994-1998) rang in a swan-song era for the company’s final aircooled flagship. Initial debut of Carrera and Turbo models gave way to staggered release of S and 4S variants beginning in 1996. A sweet spot of widebody stance, naturally aspirated 3.6-liter power, and 4WD grip, the Carrera 4S ushered in a following all its own from its own. Stark production by modern standards and an uprated output of 282 horsepower cements the model’s cult appeal to the present day.
