Seller's Introduction

I purchased the vehicle in May of 2023 and added only 500 miles in that time. Always serviced, garaged, and meticulously cared for, this car is ready for its next owner.

Overview

In 1995, Ferrari began a new era of mid-engine V8 offerings with the introduction of its F355. Available in Berlinetta, GTS, and Spider configurations, the company’s first automated manual (F1) transaxle was offered in 1997. A Fiorano Handling Package, Challenge rear grille, and suede steering wheel were among desirable— now sought after— options. By 1999, the car’s successor, the 360, had been announced. A benchmark for style and performance, the outgoing F355’s final run featured 100 numbered examples dubbed Serie Fiorano. All Spiders, these cars are recognizable by an individual series number and featured optional equipment previously available only a la carte. The Serie Fiorano represents the F355’s highest form among definitive sports cars of the 1990s.

Example 21/100, the 1999 F355 F1 Spider Serie Fiorano presented here is finished in Nero over Beige leather. A 3.5L V8 delivers 375 horsepower through a six-speed F1 gearbox controlled by carbon fiber paddle shifters or push-button selectable automatic driving mode. Optional and fully functioning Fiorano suspension keeps all four Pirelli P Zero tires firmly planted on the road. Pop-up headlights and AM/FM/cassette deck add of-the-era charm, while modern conveniences of power adjustable seats and power convertible top set this example apart as far from sufferable. Iconic Pininfarina styling with an exhaust note to match make any 355 a bucket list buy. A driver-focused limited production Spider is one to hold. This Ferrari is offered with both a clean Texas title and accident-free Carfax report. The seller states the title is in transit and will arrive approximately 3 weeks after auction.
