Overview

The 1999 Ferrari F355 Spider Serie Fiorano was developed as the final and most exclusive version of the F355 series. Designed by Pininfarina, the Serie Fiorano was limited to just 100 units, making it a rare collector's item. Development aimed to enhance the performance and handling of the F355 Spider, incorporating lessons learned from Ferrari's extensive racing experience. Engineers focused on improving the car's suspension, steering, and braking systems to provide a more responsive and exhilarating driving experience, all of which were accomplished in spades.

The F355 Spider Serie Fiorano featured a 3.5-liter V8 engine producing 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque, paired with either an F1 automated gearbox or, like in the example offered here, a 6-speed manual transmission. The factory 6-speed box is a much rarer and more desirable feature, appearing in only 26 of the 100 units produced. Some estimates put only 24 roadworthy 6-speed examples left driving, making this offering extremely uncommon. The car boasts a number of factory performance upgrades, including a stiffer suspension setup with lower ride height, an upgraded braking system with cross-drilled rotors, and a quicker steering rack. Additionally, it is equipped with carbon fiber interior trim, a suede-wrapped steering wheel, and Fiorano-specific badges and plaques. The exterior is finished in Giallo Modena with a black convertible top and includes unique styling elements such as a rear Challenge grille and enamel Scuderia Ferrari fender shields.

This example has spent over 15 years with one owner and has been meticulously serviced. The car received a full engine-out belt service and master cylinder replacement completed in preparation for the sale, ensuring years of driving pleasure yet to come. Ferrari of New England offered dedicated care for much of this vehicle's life, and the attention to detail shows, resulting in a well-sorted and eminently drivable icon. A portfolio of service records will accompany the vehicle, and a selection of the most important records is available in the "Documents" gallery above. A summary of the major service is also provided in the "Service Records" section below, and additional invoices for periodic minor services are available upon request. In short, few Ferraris of this era benefit from such a comprehensive service history, let alone a desirable and collectible icon such as this manual Serie Fiorano. Examples of this caliber rarely present themselves, so now is your opportunity to add to your collection what is fast becoming one of the best-performing blue chip collectibles of the day. It is now offered with a 5-Piece Ferrari luggage kit sourced from a standard F355, a clean Carfax report, a third-party inspection report, and a clean title. Documentation available confirming the car to be a factory gated manual.
