2001 | Ferrari 360 Spider F1
Overview
This 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider benefits from crisp colors, low-mileage, and comprehensive recent service. Argento Nurburgring silver over Nero leather, this example’s power convertible top opens to Daytona-style seats and of-the-era niceties including dual-zone automatic climate control, AM/FM/CD audio, and F1 automated shifting. Professionally painted body color interior trim coordinates with column-mounted paddle shifters and aluminum pedals. 'Scuderia Ferrari' fender shields are complimented by cross-drilled ventilated brakes w/red calipers behind 18” alloy wheels, while a transparent engine cover and Challenge-style rear grille offer unobstructed views of the mid-mounted V8 engine. Showing just over 11k miles, this Prancing Horse leads the pack in a class of its own, complete with leather-bound tools and an aftermarket GPS immobilizer system. A clean title, Carfax report, and Seller’s Disclosure are included in the sale alongside exhaustive service records from current and previous ownership.
.
Released in 2000 to following the F355, Ferrari’s 360 emerged as a clear successor in the manufacturer’s storied lineage of mid-engine V8 sports cars. Available in both coupe and Spider convertible variants, the 360 featured extensive aluminum construction throughout chassis, body, and suspension components - a first for Ferrari. Such tactics reduced overall weight, improved handling and acceleration, and set new standards in manufacturing precision and quality. Entering the new Millennium, the car’s Pininfarina styling emphasized smooth lines and advanced aerodynamics.
.
The car’s reworked 3.6L power plant delivered 395 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. Available with a six-speed F1 automated transaxle, the 360 offered direct and engaging dynamics. Rear-wheel drive and limited-slip grip paired with electronic stability and traction control systems to enhance handling without detracting from the car's rewarding tactile feedback. Performance figures boasted 0 to 60 mph acceleration in just over 4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 180 mph, remarkable feats when new.
