Released in 2000 to replace the F355, Ferrari’s 360 Spider emerged as a new pinnacle in the lineage of mid-engine, V8-powered Ferrari convertibles. The car’s reworked 3.6-liter V8 engine delivered 395 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. Available with a six-speed manual transaxle the 360 offered direct and engaging dynamics—its distinctive gated shifter becoming a sought-after feature among enthusiasts. Performance figures boasted 0 to 60 mph acceleration in just over 4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 180 mph, remarkable feats when new.
