2005 | Ferrari Superamerica

The Ferrari Superamerica, unveiled in the early 2000s, was a further development of the wildly popular 575M Maranello, blending high-performance engineering with grand touring luxury. This model was distinguished by its integration of Ferrari's iconic naturally aspirated V12 engine, renowned for delivering robust power and torque. Its chassis and suspension were meticulously tuned to achieve a delicate balance between high-speed stability and a comfortable ride. Advanced materials and streamlined aerodynamics played a pivotal role in its construction, aimed at reducing weight and enhancing performance and efficiency.

The Superamerica featured a notable advancement with its "Revocromico" roof, an innovative system that allowed the hardtop to rotate 180 degrees and rest flush with the boot, effectively transforming the car into a convertible in seconds. Powered by a 48-valve 5.75-liter DOHC V12 engine, it was capable of producing 532 horsepower and reaching a top speed of nearly 200 mph. A six-speed manual or an F1-style automated manual transmission offered a choice between traditional engagement and a more technologically progressive approach. The 2005 Superamerica also boasted enhanced handling characteristics compared to its predecessors, attributed to its refined suspension system and optimized weight distribution.

With only 559 examples ever produced, the car is scarce by any measure. This 2005 Superamerica stays true to form with its desirable combination of Grigio Silverstone finish and F1 automated manual gearbox. Optional 19" modular wheels anchor the grand tourer to the tarmac, and the Scuderia Shields remind all passersby of the car's race-bred heritage. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in gorgeous full Bordeaux Leather with Grigio Chiaro top roll extending to the power-adjustable Daytona Style seats, center console, door panels, and rear package shelf. The Carbon Fiber Interior Package swaths the cabin in the dark and glistening trim, and the Hi-Fi Sound System provides convenient entertainment. Now showing just over 13k miles, this Superamerica remains in fine form, representing an excellent addition to any distinguished collection. It is now offered with a third-party inspection report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title.
