2006 | Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster Gated 6-Speed
Overview
Lamborghini's Murcielago celebrated a high point in maturity of the automaker's steel-tube chassis supercars. Debuted for the US market in 2002, the model brought excitement and elegance at every angle as a true successor to the outgoing Diablo it replaced (1990-2001). Key ingredients in the Murcielago's recipe for success included a 6.2L V12, six-speed gated manual gearbox, and limited slip differential.
Available in Roadster configuration from model year 2005, the car's roofless counterpart was an overnight sensation. Remarkably beautiful as they were scarce, just 22 percent of first-generation Murcielagos arrived in Roadster form worldwide. Further, just three percent of Roadsters were equipped with a manual gearbox following the introduction of Lamborghini's automated EGear (2004). By the numbers, just 38 of 247 US-delivery units in total are believed to exist as six-speed gated manual Roadsters. Over early Murcielago Coupes, larger brakes and improvements to all-wheel-drive and front-axle lift systems made the dramatic drop-top worth waiting for.

Finished in yellow over black leather, this 2006 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster screams blue chip. Signature scissor doors welcome passengers to try on flamboyance as only a Lamborghini can provide. Yellow contrast stitching throughout, a front-axle lift system, original AM/FM/CD stereo, and power windows complete an interior focused on its gated six-speed centerpiece. Open-air enjoyment of the V12's soundtrack benefits from aftermarket exhaust stated by the seller to boost engine output by 30 horsepower. Cross-drilled brake rotors grabbed by yellow Lamborghini calipers lie behind 18-inch chrome-finished Hercules wheels wearing Pirelli P Zero tires. Showing an odometer reading of 13,110 miles, this Raging Bull is accompanied by a clean Arizona Title, Carfax report, its removable cloth roof, and accessories.
