2007 | Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Seller's Introduction
Overview
The development of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, codenamed F141, was marked by significant technological advances and new features for the Italian brand. Styled by famed coachbuilder Pininfarina, the car debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006, showcasing aerodynamic efficiency with distinctive sail panels at the rear window to direct airflow to a linear rear spoiler. Named after its engine displacement of 5,999cc and the famed Fiorano Circuit used by Ferrari, the 599 GTB Fiorano was the marque's answer to their own highly successful yet aging 575M Maranello.
The 599's Enzo-derived V12 was the most powerful series production engine Ferrari had yet produced, avoiding forced induction while breaking records with its power output and torque. The car also featured an aluminum chassis for increased rigidity, a longer wheelbase for stability, and an improved power-to-weight ratio. Additionally, it introduced a new traction control system and the F1 SuperFast 6-speed automated manual paddle-shift transmission, boasting a 100 millisecond shift time and setting the standard for future Ferrari GT cars.
The 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano offered here has undergone extensive mechanical and cosmetic service in preparation for the sale, including engine work performed by Maranello Motorworks and an exterior refresh performed by the consigning dealer. With these services complete, this 599 stands out from the crowd and is ready to take on the road ahead. Highly optioned from the factory, this example is a testament to pure Grand Turismo Berlinetta driving, finished in striking Tour de France Blue over a Charcoal interior. A healthy 612 horsepower propels the nimble, 3,700-pound coupe, accelerating from 0-60 in just over three seconds. The optional carbon ceramic braking system and yellow painted calipers mounted under the 20" Monolithic BBS-style wheels ensure the car comes to a stop just as well as it accelerates, while the Magneto-Rheologicial suspension ensures stability. Inside, the full electric Recaro seats face boundless carbon fiber accents, and the steering wheel-mounted Manettino control system keeps the driver informed. There are few joys in life greater than rounding a corner from the driver's seat of a Ferrari with the exhilarating sound of its V12 filling the air, and this 599 GTB Fiorano certainly fits the bill. It is now offered on dealer consignment with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, a third-party inspection report, and a clean Colorado title.
