2007 | Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet Six-Speed
Overview
With its second water-cooled generation (997), Porsche incorporated learnings both from storied design legacy and cutting-edge technologies. Beginning in 2005, stylistic changes over the outgoing 996 were most outwardly apparent—marked by a return to round headlights. Inside, the car's wholly revamped interior featured a central PCM infotainment display. S trim netted new Sport-button selectable Porsche Active Suspension Management, 19" wheels, and 3.8L displacement.
.
In Cabriolet form, the Carrera S offered no-compromise performance in step with its Coupe counterparts. At speeds up to 30mph, the drop-top 911 afforded passengers 20-second deployment of its full-power insulated top. Safety features aided both peace of mind and the car's sleek silhouette with hidden roll bars concealed to eject from behind the rear seats. Catering to a wide range of enthusiasts with both rear and all-wheel-drive configurations, the Carrera S remained capable in any use case.
.
Presented here in Black over Sand Beige leather, this 2007 Porsche Carrera S Cabriolet defines modern classic. Naturally aspirated flat-six power, rear-wheel-drive, and a manual gearbox assemble in fine form with ample optioning and reported service history. Inside, Bose audio, Sport Chrono package, and power-adjustable heated front seating add comfort and novel flair. Rare Makassar wood trim and deviated carpets coordinate the interior's warm tones and body-color black fabric top. Lending to its curb appeal, optional 19" Sport Design wheels w/colored Porsche crest center caps sit over cross-drilled brake rotors grabbed by red calipers. Michelin Pilot Sport tires hold the road. Now listed with an odometer reading just under 59k miles, this Cabriolet is sold with a clean title, Carfax report, and third-party Inspection Report.

Known Shortcomings
This vehicle shows wear consistent with its age and mileage according to a third-party Inspection Report. Please review the entire document by clicking "Inspection Report" above. Inspector comments include the following:
.
- This vehicle looks to have been well kept with some issues of note. Scratches on the tire placard inside the drivers doorjamb. The underside shows areas of surface rust. There are tiny rock chips to the front of the vehicle.
- Passenger sun visor lights did not work, driver seat bolster has wear and tear. All accessories are working as designed.
- The power steering fluid level is low, with no obvious external leaks. No dipstick, I was able to check the level on the cluster (which was full). The oil was changed recently ~600 miles ago, according to the owner.
