2007 | Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Overview
In 2006, Porsche debuted the 997-generation 911 GT3. Its 3.6L flat-six engine returned freshened, now rated at 415 horsepower, and power traveled only by way of a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Arriving chiseled over the 996 it replaced, the spartan enthusiast model delivered renewed shock value on track. Revised fore and aft fascia plus a carbon fiber rear wing set serious sights on an aerodynamic target of zero lift. Demands on the chassis were dispatched through Porsche's first use of its adjustable Active Suspension Management (PASM).
Aesthetically, the new GT3's appeal was undeniable. A return to neatly rounded headlights and centered twin exhausts accented the classic silhouette. In step with performance and style, imperatives for the new car's design were not without improvements to interior comfort and usability. Two lighter and enthusiast-oriented seats, premium cabin materials, and a host of optional equipment available brought the 997's passenger appointments up-market.
This 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997.1) is finished in Carrara White over Black leather and Alcantara interior and shows an odometer reading of 7,986 miles. Its extensive list of optional equipment is uniquely configured and includes stylish side stripes with GT3 RS logos, red-painted brake calipers, and Bi-Xenon headlamps. Inside, the cabin features sport seats trimmed in black Alcantara in addition to the Carbon Interior Package, including a carbon rear center console and carbon B-pillar seat belt outlets, complete with aluminum footrests. Pirelli P Zero 235/35 front and 305/30 rear tires hold black model-specific staggered-diameter 19" wheels to the road. Meticulously well maintained and presenting in excellent condition throughout, this rare and low-mileage example makes an ideal investment into one of Porsche's most enduring designs. This GT3 RS is offered with a Porsche Product Specifications (PPS) Certificate, a third-party inspection report, and both a clean title and a clean Carfax report.
