Overview
Introduced in 2006, was the successor of the Ferrari 575M Maranello – the Ferrari 599. Styled by Pininfarina and with its name referring to its engine displacement, 5999cc, the grand tourer served as the company’s V12-powered flagship supercar.
This 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB, offered at no reserve, marries a desirable factory specification to its grand tourer-defined lines and front-mounted engine powertrain. The exterior is defined with a Rosso Corsa paint finish, featuring Scuderia Ferrari side fender shields. It rides on 20” Ferrari ‘Challenge' -style alloy wheels hiding over color-coordinated Rosso Corsa-finished brake calipers.
Inside brings Cuoio leather upholstery throughout various interior sections, overlaid with matching Cuoio interior carpeting, Beige colored seatbelts, and Rosso contrast stitching details. Carbon Fibre trim on the central driving zone brings sporting touches to the premium appearance of this grand tourer. Facing the driver is a Cuoio leather-appointed steering wheel - featuring push button ignition start, side-mounted paddle shifters, and a full LED light strip to relay optimal timing for gear shifts. Additional interior equipment includes electronically-adjustable Daytona-style seats for both occupants, a Bose Hi-Fi audio system, an electrochromatic rear view mirror, and iPod adapter.
Power comes from a 6.0L naturally-aspirated V12 engine, which routes all of its power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed F1 automated manual transmission. Modifications reported on this example are limited to an aftermarket radar detector and exhaust system with adjustable valves. Under 20,000 miles are currently reported on the odometer.
