2011 | Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet Factory Hardtop
Overview
The 997 Generation II, unveiled in 2009 and known affectionately by enthusiasts as 997.2, introduced significant enhancements to Porsche's 911 series, culminating in the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet launch in 2010. This model showcased a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that delivered 530 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, significantly improving over its predecessors. Coupled with Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, the vehicle boasted an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph. Implementing the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive system provided superior handling, while Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) offered enhanced stability by distributing power dynamically between the front and rear wheels.
The 997.2 Turbo S Cabriolet arrived with aerodynamic enhancements and luxury features. It came equipped with 19-inch RS Spyder wheels, bi-xenon headlights, and LED daytime running lights that complemented its dynamic design. The interior featured extensive use of leather, adaptive sports seats with memory functions, and a host of customizable trim options. With these specifications, the 997.2 Turbo S Cabriolet emerged as a remarkable blend of performance, luxury, and technological advancement with equal appeal among enthusiasts and collectors.
This 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet is a highly optioned example that was delivered new with a rare and desirable removable hardtop in addition to its folding soft top. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Stone Grey full-leather interior featuring nearly every available extra leather trim option, ranging from the steering column to the center console to the rearview mirror and even the air vents. Outside, its center-locking wheels are mounted over yellow brake calipers, and body-color accents clad nearly every surface. Track proven, the car also includes Porsche's proprietary electronic logbook. An additional $20k-plus in luxury options make this Cab the ideal machine to experience the track in total comfort. It is now offered with a clean Carfax report, a third-party inspection report, and a clean title.
