Ferrari 458 Spider
The Ferrari 458 Spider, introduced in 2011, marked a significant evolution in Ferrari's mid-rear-engined sports cars lineage. Engineered with a 4.5-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine, it delivered 562 horsepower at a remarkable 9,000 rpm. This power unit combined direct fuel injection—a first for Ferrari V8 road cars—with traditional Italian high-revving characteristics. The 458 Spider featured an innovative hardtop convertible mechanism, distinguishing it from its coupe predecessors. The 2014 Ferrari 458 Spider offered here is finished in Blu Tour de France over brown leather and shows only 13k miles on the odometer. Outside, 20″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted over enormous carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow-painted calipers, while Scuderia Ferrari fender shields stand out against the deep blue finish. Inside, the cockpit is upholstered in handsome brown leather and features power-adjustable bolstered sport seats. Black leather accents the dashboard and multifunction steering wheel with its adjustable Manettino control knob.
