2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507

First shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, a special C63 variant was chosen by Mercedes-Benz as the swansong of AMG’s 6.2L naturally aspirated M156 V8 engine. Named the Edition 507—for the car’s uprated 507hp output, the car adopted the slightly lighter V8 from the SLS AMG, complete with revised ECU tuning, new connecting rods, a lightweight crankshaft and forged pistons. Externally, the Edition 507 carried the same vented aluminum bonnet from the Black Series, light-alloy spoke wheels, AMG side stripes and a boot lid spoiler. Inside, an Alcantara-covered steering wheel, special AMG gear selector trim, optional two-tone leather, and model-specific badging differentiated the car among its contemporaries.
