Overview
Porsche’s 911 991.1 generation captures model years 2011-2015. Incremental improvements over the preceding 997 yielded a car faster and more comfortable with looks stylistically expectant of a 911. In Turbo S trim, the vehicle was available only with Porsche’s seven-speed dual-clutch PDK, column-mounted paddle shifters allow manual shifting on demand. All-wheel-drive and brutally effective boost from its pair of turbochargers offered no shortage of go. In Cabriolet form, an insulated power convertible top provides noise isolation with every bit the repose of a closed Carrera coupe.
Finished in Carrera White Metallic over black leather, this 2015 911 turbo S Cabriolet personifies open top speed. Both interior and exterior carbon fiber trim make for detailed contrast throughout. The tightly woven material is highlighted from the steering wheel, dash, and doorsills to side mirrors and air intakes.
