The 2016 Ferrari F12 TDF, named in homage to the Tour de France Automobile endurance road race (not the similarly named bicycle race) that Ferrari dominated in the 1950s and 60s, is a limited-edition, high-performance, significantly enhanced variant of the F12 Berlinetta. The car was designed and engineered by a team led by Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari's Chief Design Officer, and is known for its aggressive styling and advanced aerodynamics. Under the hood, the F12 TDF boasts a 6.3-liter V12 engine that produces 769 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. The car makes extensive use of carbon fiber, contributing to a lighter weight than the standard F12, having a claimed dry weight of 1,415 kg (3,120 lb). It also features an advanced rear-wheel steering system that enhances its agility and stability at high speeds, ensuring extraordinary cornering performance.

The F12 TDF's technical aerodynamic enhancements include a larger rear diffuser, a redesigned front bumper with integrated dive planes, and an active rear spoiler that improves downforce.
