Produced from 2014 to 2024, the Lamborghini Huracan served as the direct successor to the Gallardo, taking its place as the entry-level, two-door sports car model in the Italian brand’s lineup. The Huracán Avio was introduced in 2017, serving as one of the first limited-edition flavors of Lamborghini’s then-new V10 mid-engined supercar. It was distinguished by unique exterior decals, colors, and interior details inspired by the color schemes of the Italian Air Force and its fighter jet hardware. 

 

The 2017 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Avio presented here on Sotheby’s Motorsports is reportedly 1 of 250 units made worldwide. The exterior features Lamborghini’s unique matte paint finish, Verde Turbine, with exterior decals inspired by the aviation legacy that is credited to the Avio’s namesake. The signature feature of this Lamborghini, its 5.2L mid-mounted V10 engine, is highlighted with a transparent engine cover with surrounding carbon fibre engine compartment trim, with the addition of LED lighting within the engine bay. Additional exterior features of this special-edition Lamborghini include 20-inch forged alloy wheels finished in Black, complemented by carbon-ceramic brakes with matching Black brake calipers, all underscoring the all-wheel-drive (AWD) configuration of this model. The addition of paint protection film to the exterior provides further long-term protection to the matte paint finish. 

 

The cockpit of this Huracan remains focused on the driver, with the standard fare of features onboard that allow maximum focus on handling this supercar without significantly reducing overall comfort for both occupants. Nero Ade upholstery has been selected for this Huracan Avio, featuring white contrast stitching details that run through both seats, the center console, and the dashboard. The Avio’s distinctive numbered and circular 'Tricolore' (Red/White/Green) emblem is also present on both power adjustable and heated seats’ side bolsters. Further amenities onboard include Lamborghini’s Sensonum Premium in-car audio sound system, Travel and Smoker Packages, and leather floormats. Further factory optioned equipment to aid with the operation of this Lamborghini includes a Front Lifting System, Dynamic Power Steering, and a Reversing Camera with Parking Sensors.
