The Aston Martin Rapide AMR, for "Aston Martin Racing," was unveiled in 2018 by the British marque's specialist racing division as an exclusive variant of the successful Rapide series. Limited edition production commenced in 2019, encapsulating the brand's commitment to delivering high-performance vehicles that maintained a steadfast connection to the brand's racing heritage. The fully reworked model emerged as an ambitious blend of grand tourer opulence and sports car dynamism. It was powered by a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine, enhanced to produce 592 horsepower and 483 lb-ft of torque, a notable increase from the standard Rapide's output. This powertrain allowed the Rapide AMR to achieve a top speed of 210 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds, positioning it as the fastest four-door vehicle in the market at its release.

A series of technical advancements and design modifications distinguished the model from its counterparts. Engineers achieved aerodynamic improvements by adopting full carbon fiber bodywork, including a front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, and a trunk lid spoiler designed to reduce lift and enhance stability at high speeds. The Rapide AMR also featured 21-inch wheels, a first for Aston Martin, coupled with carbon ceramic brakes that ensured exceptional stopping power. The interior was replete with Alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber accents, and AMR logos, offering a sophisticated environment that mirrored its performance capabilities. Limited to just 210 units worldwide, a number chosen in reference to the car's top speed, the model not only served as a testament to Aston Martin's racing capability but also as a collector's piece, symbolizing a fusion of artistry and speed.

The 2019 Aston Martin Rapide AMR offered here shows fewer than 10k miles on the odometer and has been meticulously maintained, presenting in excellent condition throughout. The car is finished in Onyx Black over an All Obsidian Black full-leather interior, a nearly $5k option. The 8-speed Touchtronic 3 automatic transmission delivers power to the rear wheels and features a host of intelligent driving functions, ranging from Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) to Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), ensuring optimal control at all times. Inside the cabin, heated and power-adjustable front seats with position memory are joined by heated rear seats and an optional Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Audio System, ringing in at over $8k. An optional second glass key and Aston Martin umbrella round out the bespoke touches. This Rapide AMR is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a third-party inspection report. The title is in transit and will arrive approximately three weeks after the conclusion of the auction.
