2019 | Ford GT Carbon Series
Overview
One of just 50 built for the model year, this 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series shows fewer than 3k miles, further equipped with $85k in configured options. A Frozen White exterior exposes advanced aerodynamics engineered into the car’s instantly recognizable silhouette. As a coveted Carbon Series model, 20” gloss carbon fiber wheels replace standard forged alloy units, while the rear hatch features weight-saving polycarbonate alongside exposed carbon fiber body elements and twin center stripe. Its most expensive factory extras assemble within Equipment Group 600A ($70k), including a lightweight Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel plus a titanium Akropovič exhaust system and lug nuts. This example’s Carbon Silver graphics package ($15k) adds even more visual differentiation from other GT models.
.
The Carbon Series was developed for customers seeking an even more track-honed variant of the manufacture’s exclusive hypercar offering. Extensive use of carbon fiber, titanium touches, and a revised interior shed nearly 40lbs from its already featherweight construction. Behind the cabin, a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 and F1-inspired 7-speed dual-clutch transmission arrive highly capable, transmitting 647 horsepower to the road. Carbon ceramic brakes from Brembo, electronic active damping, a signature speed-activated front splitter, and deployable rear wing coordinate in harmony at speed. As an added convenience, a push button-activated front lift system helps with the start and end of spirited journeys.
.
Radically different in design, construction, and visual appearance when compared to other hypercars, the Ford GT’s wheels are suspended from the roof structure. Internal plumbing routed through the chassis, shares top-down integrity seen in the car’s dramatic flying buttresses and side pods. The open space behind the doors is both aerodynamically advantageous and a design element totally unique to the Ford GT. Constructed by Multimatic, only 250 vehicles are completed per year—a rare 20% of which were Carbon Series specials. Allotments sold out immediately in the first year, having been continually in demand until production closed in 2023.
.
This collector-grade 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series showcases a limited-run variant of the premier American entry in the pantheon of ultimate performance. With low mileage, pristine condition, and desirable options, its legend will only continue to grow. All factory accessories and documentation from new accompany the sale, detailed below.
