Overview
Founded in 1994, Koenigsegg remains second to none in bespoke construction of the world’s fastest and most powerful production road cars. Continuing in company founder Christian von Koenigsegg’s tradition of excellence, the Regera arrived for model year 2016 as the Swedish marque’s first plug-in hybrid offering. The manufacturer’s carbon-monocoque flagship ‘Megacar’ pushed the boundaries of performance in all regards, combining a twin-turbocharged V8 heart and trio of electric motors.
The Regera redefined Koenigsegg’s luxury renown with grand touring comfort to match brutal its capability. Limited to just 80 units, near infinite color choice in the finest leather, carbon fiber, and aluminum surroundings showcased a built environment like no other. Beneath exotic lightweight contours, hardware at the mountaintop of innovation worked in tandem to ensure serenity at speed.
