2019 | McLaren 720S Luxury
Overview
This Example
This 2019 McLaren 720S Luxury packs over $48k in configured options, seen here in Memphis Red over a Black/Scoria Grey leather interior. Its 710hp twin-turbo V8 is made approachable by 7-speed DCT shifting and extras including a suspension lifter, 360 park assist, and premium 12 speaker audio. Staggered lightweight forged wheels, Carbon fiber exterior upgrade package, and McLaren Track Telemetry fill out competition-grade credentials. Showing just over 10k miles, a clean title, Carfax history, and Seller’s Disclosure accompany the sale.
.
McLaren produced 4,765 cars in 2019, while Ferrari produced over 10,000 in the same year. It is believed that 30% of that McLaren’s production was 720S coupes. Luxury spec offered different interior trim and exterior 'metal look' niceties over the exposed carbon trim of the Performance package unless otherwise specified. Further, 6-way adjustable heated power seats replace standard two-way adjustable non-heated buckets. Luxury interiors were trimmed in leather, while others netted simulated suede.
Understanding the 720S
Introduced in 2017 at the Geneva Motor Show, the 720S was produced between 2017 and 2023. The car established a new design language for McLaren in a radical departure from the preceding 650S with an all-new Mono Cage 2 carbon tub and frame structure. An evolution of the P1 hypercar’s architecture, the 720S’ chassis arrived 40lbs lighter than the outgoing 650S.
.
Comprehensive software and hardware updates sharpened road manners alongside engine displacement increased to 4 liters—up 70 horsepower. Improved navigation-enabled infotainment and an available suspension lifter system made boosted user-friendliness in any setting. In tandem, McLaren went to great lengths improving build quality and boosting the ownership experience with updated warranty and maintenance programs.
