2019 | Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet
Overview
Porsche’s 911 has long held appeal far greater than it’s sporting capability. Beginning in 2011, the car's 991-generation reached new heights of configuration and optioning in stride with powertrain development and expected luxuries. Both enthusiasts and first-time buyers alike were afforded equal consideration in variants thoughtfully tailored by use case. Rather than crowd a well-stocked lineup, introduction of T and GTS trim levels grew the model's depth at each end of the spectrum.
.
Just shy of the manufacturer’s harder-core Turbo and GT offerings, GTS trim nested in a sweet spot of performance, presence, and practicality. Carrera S power plus access to premium surroundings made the GTS a balance of go-fast meets grand touring without compromise. Mid-cycle 991.2 updates yielded more power sooner a-la larger turbos attached to the now 3-liter power plant. PASM, Porsche Torque Vectoring, Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust sweetened a pot already investment-grade. No bolt-on appearance package, the GTS received factory wide-body treatment on par with models ascending.
.
Presented here in GT Silver Metallic over Black/Carmine Red, this 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS offers high spec in swathes. Enthusiast optioning nets desirable equipment more than skin deep. Beneath its insulated cabriolet canopy, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus feature deviated stitching, Alcantara centers, and GTS headrest embroidery. Porsche Entry & Drive plus Bose surround sound meet tasteful personalization including a Carmine Red tachometer, heated steering wheel, and carbon trim. This 911's 3.0L twin-turbo heart engine routes 450 horsepower through a seven-speed PDK automated gearbox to the rear wheels. GTS performance extras bring the car's sporting nature to bear while Black 20" center-locking wheels clad in Pirelli P Zero sit over cross-drilled brakes w/Red calipers. Showing just 14k miles, this Porsche is sold with a clean title, Carfax report, and third-party Inspection Report.
