Overview
The 620R was conceived as a road-legal evolution of the 570S GT4 race car, and XP1 embodies that philosophy with motorsport-derived hardware and factory refinement. Its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 produces 611 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and track-focused suspension with adjustable dampers. Carbon-ceramic brakes, extensive carbon fiber components, and lightweight racing seats ensure the prototype delivers both uncompromising performance and raw motorsport character, while its Alcantara-trimmed cockpit provides the purposeful environment of a true driver’s car.
Among its factory specifications, XP1 was equipped with a number of desirable MSO and performance options. Highlights include the MSO Defined Carbon Fibre body panels, a 6-point harness system with harness bar, McLaren Orange brake calipers, upgraded Bowers & Wilkins 12-speaker audio, and purpose built lightweight racing seats.
