2020 | McLaren 720S Performance Spider

The McLaren 720S Performance Spider, developed as an evolution of the 720S Coupe, was introduced to the automotive market as a part of McLaren's Super Series. The convertible model debuted in 2019 and was available in several trims, with the range-topping Performance trim focusing entirely on power and speed. The car was powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing an astounding 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. The carbon fiber monocoque chassis, known as the Monocage II-S, enhanced the vehicle's rigidity without compromising weight, contributing to a dry weight of less than 3,000 pounds. The custom-made carbon fiber retractable hardtop could be deployed or retracted in just 11 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph.

In 2020, the Performance Spider maintained its core specifications while introducing subtle enhancements. The 2020 model continued to utilize the 4.0-liter V8 engine and was paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 2.8 seconds. Even with the roof lowered, the top speed remained above 200 mph, an impressive feat for a convertible. The 2020 iteration included upgraded aerodynamics with revised air intakes, and the Proactive Chassis Control II system offered refined handling dynamics. This model also featured an updated infotainment system with enhanced connectivity and bespoke customization options through McLaren's Special Operations division, allowing for a higher degree of personalization.

This 2020 McLaren 720S Performance Spider is finished in special Saros Exterior Elite Paint and is loaded with desirable performance-enhancing options. The Carbon Fiber Exterior Upgrade Pack 1 adds a hood air intake, rear fender air intake, mirrors, and more, all constructed in the lightweight material. Yellow-painted calipers over carbon ceramic brakes ensure optimal stopping power. The interior features power-adjustable sport seats trimmed in Black and Xenon Yellow Alcantara and leather upholstery in addition to a sea of carbon fiber forming all of the primary interior components. The car's near limitless power is enjoyed in luxury and comfort with the 8" digital infotainment and surround sound system. The front and rear parking sensors and rear parking camera, coupled with the vehicle lift system, provides potent protection for the car's ground-hugging lines. This 720S Performance Spider is now offered with a clean Carfax report, a third-party inspection report, and a clean Montana title.
