Ferrari's eight-cylinder berlinettas have long featured as a foundational component of company identity serving to introduce its sports car offerings. Its twin-turbocharged 3.9L power plant arrived with a baseline akin to the 488's Pista trim, touting a 211mph top speed. All told, the new car shed 80lbs over 488 GTB it replaced, claimed a 10% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency, and benefited from iterative chassis tuning.

Passenger appointments show attention to detail at a high bar from full electric seating w/yellow contrast stitching and safety belts to a yellow rev counter, carbon fiber driver zone, central bridge, and dash inserts. Suspension lifter, front driving camera, front/rear parking sensors, Surround View, and Homelink contribute to an array of safety and convenience features. Exterior panache extends to include Scuderia Ferrari Shields, 20" forged wheels over yellow brake calipers, and sport tailpipe tips. The mid-mounted V8's twin-turbo power is routed to rear wheels via seven-speed DCT automated shifting.
