2021 | Rolls-Royce Ghost
Overview
The Rolls-Royce Ghost, originally introduced in 2009 as a smaller, more measured counterpart to the Phantom, underwent a comprehensive redesign for its second generation, unveiled in 2020. This iteration was developed under the codename RR11 and represented a departure from the previous model's design, adopting new Rolls-Royce design language while maintaining the classic aesthetics associated with the brand. The development focused on enhancing ride quality, quietness, and driving dynamics while employing the Rolls-Royce Architecture of Luxury, an aluminum space frame platform exclusive to Rolls-Royce vehicles. Engineers and designers placed emphasis on the so-called 'Post Opulent' design philosophy, striving for minimalism and timelessness.
.
For 2021, the Ghost was equipped with a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, producing 563 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed, satellite-aided automatic transmission. This powertrain enabled the vehicle to achieve 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, coupled with a top speed of 155 mph. Notable for its 'Magic Carpet Ride' technology, the Ghost offered exceptional ride comfort, utilizing a sophisticated suspension system that adapted to changing road conditions in real-time. The interior showcased unparalleled craftsmanship from hand-stitched leather to optional bespoke audio systems, and a novel Shooting Star Headliner, integrating hundreds of fiber optic lights to mimic a starry night sky. The vehicle also incorporated advanced safety and driver assistance technologies, ensuring passenger comfort and security.
.
This example comes finished in Arctic White over Cashmere Grey, and heavily loaded in a desirable best-spec touting over $65k in options. Under a Shooting Star Headliner, GHOST package faire unfolds to include rear theater configuration, illuminated treadplates, monogrammed RR headrests, and more bespoke interior extras. Outside, the car features chrome-plated visible exhausts and is anchored by dark 21" twin-spoke wheels with factory monochrome self-righting centers. Further interior opulence comes in the form of extended open pore Blackwood trim plus Charles Blue accents to front and rear heated/ventilated seats encircled by Rolls-Royce Bespoke Audio. Now showing fewer than 6k miles, this 2021 Ghost presents in near-new condition throughout. It is now offered with a clean title, Carfax report, a Seller's Disclosure report.
