The development of the Bentley Bentayga Speed began in earnest in the early 2010s, as Bentley Motors sought to expand its presence in the luxury SUV market. Engineers and designers started by refining the Bentayga's existing platform to accommodate the demands of a new high-performance model. The heart of the Bentayga Speed was its powertrain, and the familiar 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine was thoroughly reworked to deliver 626 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant, paired with an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, catapulted the Bentayga Speed from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds, making it the world's fastest production SUV at the time.

In addition to its impressive performance, the Bentley Bentayga Speed showcased the brand's longstanding commitment to luxury and artisanal craftsmanship. The interior was adorned with the finest materials, including hand-stitched leather, wood veneers, and shining metal accents. Technological features, such as a state-of-the-art infotainment system and advanced driver-assistance aids, ensured that the Bentayga Speed was powerful and sophisticated. The 2022 Bentley Bentayga Speed offered here is an AWD example extensively optioned for comfort and convenience. The Touring Specification package adds Bentley Safeguard, a suite of advanced safety features, in addition to a head-up display and night vision, elevating the driver's situational awareness in all conditions. The 5 Seat Comfort Specification extends passengers the same luxe touches as the driver, while cabin mood lighting and LED welcome lamps by Mulliner greet friends or family alike. Bespoke power-adjustable seats are trimmed in black quilted leather with contrasting stitching and suede inserts, and the cabin is rounded out by an exclusive Naim surround sound system. The car now shows just over 2,000 miles and has never been privately owned.
