Since 2008, Ferrari's staple offerings have included front-engine V8 convertibles with mass appeal. Decade-long development of the open-top California platform yielded continuous improvement to both power and handling seen by 2018's final California T. The year following, a new model—dubbed Portofino—assuaged learnings from its predecessor in an updated roadster boasting 591 horsepower and twin-turbocharging as standard. 

 

The Portofino's fresh styling, novel panache, and superb road manners hardly stood still. By 2021, an uprated Portofino M arrived alongside Ferrari's Roma coupe.
