Introduced in 1966, Ford’s first-generation Bronco joined a group of now-longstanding American automotive icons. Just two years after the Mustang’s debut, the original SUV’s clean lines married versatile simplicity with rugged capability. Early trucks won over buyers with pickup, roadster, and wagon body styles and optional V8 power. Receiving a hero’s welcome, the Bronco’s 2021 reboot combined retro styling and top 4x4 tech. Though impressive out-of-the-box, Ford’s racing affiliates set to work elevating the new model’s status as an undisputed offroad champion. Among them, Multimatic—an official factory partner to Ford Racing, developed the Bronco DR for model year 2023. Named for its “Desert Ready” spec, each completed chassis arrived ready for the start line built to SCORE International offroad racing standards. Presenting a rare opportunity to purchase an OEM-quality competition truck, just 50 units were made available to the public. Each Bronco DR featured 5.0L Coyote V8 power, composite bodywork, and the best of Ford’s heavy-duty Raptor hardware and Multimatic suspension enhancements.

This 2023 Ford Bronco DR offers chassis #23/50 produced, new and ready to race. Beneath the integral roll cage, its focused interior features Recaro Pro Racer bucket seats w/Sparco harnesses facing a dash completed by a Ford Performance Sparco steering wheel and MoTec data recorder display. V8 motivation sets this build apart, complete with 10-speed automatic shifting, Holinger paddle shifters, MBRP exhaust, and uprated cooling. Endurance-rated equipment extends to a 65gal. fuel tank, rear/4WD power distribution, and a dual-range transfer case plus locking differentials front and rear. 11.8” ground clearance benefits from over 15” of suspension travel gained via Multimatic LCAs and remote reservoir DSSV adjustable suspension. Massive 37” BF Goodrich competition tires wrap 17” beadlock wheels for sure grip. Additionally configured with a spare wheel, siren, roof bar, grille bar, and rock lights, this Bronco DR presents primed for the start line in factory Ford Performance livery.
