2023 | Porsche 911 Dakar
Overview
First announced in 2022, Porsche’s 911 Dakar delivered a heritage special taking square aim at enthusiasts. The manufacturer’s Carrera 4 (991.2) platform received ground up attention to detail targeting off-trail dominance. Rear axle steering retained, ride height raised, and suspension travel lengthened, the new car arrived fit to wear its Group B 953 Paris-Dakar tribute livery.
.
Planned with limited production of just 2,500 units worldwide, fewer than half are believed to have been designated for the US market. The 2023 Porsche 911 Dakar arrived thoughtfully packaged as an all-road driver's best spec with GTS upfits through and through. 473hp, 7-speed PDK shifting, and sporting luxury at a high bar defined the car’s modern rally build. Model-specific Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control added Rallye and Offroad settings for adaptive control of sway bars and a locking rear differential.
